Rahman Jumaat’s illustrious career in the hospitality industry spans over three decades, encompassing a diverse array of roles in operations, education, and consultancy. With beginnings dating back to 1982, Rahman has navigated key positions across international locales, including Singapore, Maldives, Qatar, and Vietnam. Notably, he co-founded Xprienz Vietnam Management Consultancy, assuming the role of Principal Consultant, where he spearheads strategic initiatives and delivers transformative solutions within the HORECA sector. Rahman’s expertise is expansive, covering vital areas within the industry such as Food & Beverage Operations, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, and Hospitality Management.
Throughout his professional journey, Rahman has been a steadfast advocate for education and continuous learning, evident through his academic achievements and professional certifications. Holding degrees such as a BSc (Hons) in Human Resource Management and a Master in Business Administration in Leisure and Tourism Management, alongside certifications from esteemed institutions like the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) and the Singapore Hotel Association Training and Education College (SHATEC), Rahman has continuously honed his skills. Rahman’s commitment to talent development is evident in his previous role as the Head of School for several hospitality training institutes, reflecting his dedication to nurturing the next generation of industry professionals.
Since joining Xprienz Vietnam Management Consultancy in 2019, Rahman has played a pivotal role in enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction in the hospitality sector. His extensive experience in conducting adult learning theories and designing tailored training programs has shaped the next generation of industry professionals. Moreover, Rahman plays an active role in the establishment of new hotels, offering expert consultation in hospitality design and aiding in the planning of project facilities. He collaborates closely with appointed designers, consultants, and specialists, providing guidance and specifications in critical areas including the overall concept theme, operational layout, and specific property requirements. Rahman’s involvement ensures that projects adhere to operational standards and are in line with the overarching vision.
